Shadows and Light

Having just created this blog I would like to provide some background information about my sole purpose in creating it. As the title of this post states, the greatest aspects of photography deal with the amount of shadows and light that one allows into his pictures. It is through these two aspects that I try to capture the most realistic photographs. But in my mind there is another meaning for the title "Shadows and Light." It is the freedom out of the shadows and spiritual darkness of this world that Christ has rescued me. He has now set me in His marvelous Light. This concept is clearly explained in 1 John 2, where it says that God is Light and that there is no darkness in Him. It is by His standards that are clearly stated in the Bible that are the guide of my purpose and my life.
